Isn't it crazy how much food prices are going up? I know I think twice about buying things like eggs (because it's something I have often thrown away in the past because I didn't end up eating them). I thought I would mention a book that came highly recommended on a frugal cooking community I belonged to a while back: "More-With-Less Cookbook" by Doris Janzen Longacre. I haven't gotten it yet, but I am ordering it tonight (hopefully!). I bet the ideas and recipes would be useful for core eating since they will most likely include a lot of grains.
